ANGELICA ANTONINI
ITALIAN SOPRANO
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Milan in 2005, she began her musical studies with the violin and, alongside her instrumental training, joined the Children’s Choir of the Teatro alla Scala Academy, conducted by Maestro Bruno Casoni, taking part in numerous opera and symphonic productions. In 2021, she appeared as a soloist at Teatro alla Scala in the role of the Apparition in Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth, conducted by Riccardo Chailly.

Since 2022, she has been studying Baroque singing at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Gemma Bertagnolli, with a particular focus on early music repertoire.

In 2025, she took part in the Seven Springs season, directed by Gloria Campaner and Nicola Campogrande, performing in concert alongside Giovanni Antonini, Yasaman Mashhouri and Michele Pasotti at the Scuola Holden in Turin. During the same year, she collaborated with the Baroque ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, performing works by Monteverdi, Strozzi and Cesti as part of the Wratislavia Cantans Festival in Poland, and appeared at the Oropa Music Festival in Biella, Piedmont, curated by Federico Gad Crema. In November, she also took part in the La Lira di Orfeo season, directed by Raffaele Pe, in collaboration with Giovanni Antonini, Michele Pasotti and Liana Mosca.

In 2026, she returned to collaborate with Il Giardino Armonico, taking part in the Wratislavia Cantans Festival for the second consecutive year. In the same year, she returned to the Oropa Music Festival and collaborated with the Peace Orchestra Project, performing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s aria K. 505 in Biella and Rome.

Alongside her musical studies, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan.
